"Getting to the Heart of the Media"
Thursday, February 12, 2004

Join us for our special Valentine's Program!

Get your bows and arrows out, folks, we've got a super "don't miss" St. Valentine's program (two days early!) for you - "How to Get to the Heart of the Media," sub-titled: "And Thus Secure More Interviews to Help Sell More Books."

It takes a lot of know-how, and our panel of experts knows how. Be sure to meet them Thursday evening, February 12, at Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City, CA. Our guests will be:

Andrew Ettinger, moderator for the evening, is a Los Angeles media and literary consultant. His career began as a photo-journalist and magazine writer. Later, he was a top editor/executive at such firms as Prentice-Hall, Pocket Books, Simon and Schuster and others. He's worked with all media and is currently developing several book and film projects. Kitty Dill, representing the print media, has been an award-winning reporter and editor for several California community newspapers, among them Conejo Valley Examiner, Acorn Newspapers; News-Chronicle; and Morrow Bay Sun Bulletin. She'll dole out her list of do's and don't.s
Emiliano Limon, the radio maven, will reveal major changes in his medium in recent years, notably at L.A.'s top-rated talk station, KFI, where he is one of three producers for the popular "Bill Handel Morning Show." He began at KFI ten years ago with weekend programs, then moved to the "John & Ken Show" (local and syndicated) before joining Handel. Jacquie Jordan, our authority on television talk, has produced for such top personalities as Bob Saget, Montel Williams, Maury Povich, Geraldo Rivera and Cybill Shepherd. Currently, she's the supervising producer for AMC's new show, "Sunday Morning Shootout," and is completing a book, Booked in a Flash.

If you've been wondering how to get your book in front of print or electronic media, or you just want to be entertained and meet interesting people this Book Publicists meeting is where you need to be on February 12, 2004. Find out how to make your reservation and we'll look forward to greeting you!
