| Membership in the Book Publicists of Southern California is
a wonderful resource for authors and others:

- Attend BPSC meetings six times a year at reduced (member)
prices. Hear from great authors, publishers, media, publicists and
others. (Visit our Album page to see photos of
a recent meeting.)
|
- Get free BookExpo America (BEA) passes. This is the largest
book trade event in the United States. BPSC membership offers an
opportunity to display your book and literature at a nominal cost in
the BPSC exhibit booth, along with free passes to the Expo itself.
|
- Enter the IRWIN Award competition. As a BPSC member with a
successful year-long effort in the marketing and selling of a book,
with documentation, you are entitled to submit your campaign in one of
ten categories.
|
- Receive the informative BPSC newsletter, Know Thy Shelf,
six times each year. The newsletter's helpful columns, photos of
previous meetings and announcements of upcoming programs are just the
ticket for members who want to stay in touch.
|
- Receive the organization's Directory & Songbook,
a treasure chest of listings of BPSC members. Avail yourself of
the services of easy-to-locate publicists, suppliers of services for
authors and more.
|
- Submit an article to BPSC Publishing, a new venture of our
organization that began in 2003 with the publishing of the anthology,
Chopped Liver for the American Spirit.
|
- Consult with and learn from best-selling authors, who are
among the BPSC members and are available for networking and
professional consultation.
|
- Consult with professional book shepherds (listed in the
BPSC Directory), to obtain expert advice to further and enhance your
book writing, production, printing and publicity efforts.
|
No matter how you look at membership in Book Publicists of Southern
California, it's a winner. Contact us
today for a membership application or to reserve your space at our next
meeting.
