"PR Update: What Works, What Doesn't Work"
Is Your Book PR Campaign Working?

Wednesday, April 14, 2004

Learn invaluable tips from media experts at our next program "PR Update: What Works, What Doesn't" on Wed., April 14, Sportsmen's Lodge, 12833 Ventura Blvd. (at Coldwater Cyn.), Studio City, in the Waterfalls Room.

In order to sell more books, it's imperative that we make the most of our time, know who to contact and really learn what PR works. We need to make our shots count.

Our qualified speakers are: Ruthie O. Grant, Ph.D., a much sought after author/guest with the media because she knows how to give a good "show"; Chuck N. Baker, managing editor of "Nevada Military Veterans Reporter"; Leilani Decena, a segment producer for the KTLA-TV's highly rated "Morning Show"; Michael Benner, an award-winning personality with KPFK Radio who tells you what it takes to "sell" books on the air.

Cocktails and networking from 5:30, buffet dinner at 7:00 sharp, program at 8:15, out by 10:00. Bring your friends, business cards and flyers to this fun, helpful and entertaining meeting.

Cost for the buffet dinner and the program for 2004 paid members and their guests if paid in advance is $25 each. Nonmembers, or if you pay at the door, is $30.
